This recipe for Pumpkin Banana Bread puts a spiced-up fall twist on classic banana bread. The pumpkin isn’t overwhelming and the pecans add a toasty finish.
With the recent addition to our little family, things have been rather hectic and for a month or so now I have been contemplating reducing my weekly posts to two. Being as ambitious as I am, I was certain I was still going to be going as strong as before, but I stand corrected.
I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy to post twice a week since Baby O has been born. In fact, I haven’t even stuck with my initial schedule of Monday and Wednesday. Last Wednesday I finally finished my Halloween Party Snack Mix post, and it didn’t go up until Thursday morning. Now here it is Monday night and I’m finalizing this post to go up tomorrow.
Bloggin’ ain’t easy, folks. Some days inspiration and motivation come like the wind in Wyoming, full force and full of gusto. Other days I consider it a win if I schedule a few pins with Tailwind and check Facebook. So, where am I going with this pity-party-bull-pucky? I’ve had this recipe written down in a notebook for a while and I’ve had the pictures for about a month. I really really want to be creating and testing new recipes, but I haven’t found the time.
My point is…
Be patient and understanding with people. I’m extremely open and transparent; I have no problem sharing my pitfalls with you guys. But not everyone is like that. So as we are about to enter November, a month known for giving thanks and being kind, remember that everyone has a different story and a variety of events going on in their life. Don’t jump down someone’s throat because they missed a coffee date or forgot to tell you about their child’s birthday party until last minute. Just be kind and try to think about the situation from a different, more supportive perspective.
Preach it, sister.
With that being said, we are also at the midpoint of pumpkin season. No, Negative Nancy, it’s not over yet. Oh no! There is still plenty of time to make all the pumpkin things. Like this pumpkin banana bread and this layered pumpkin cheesecake, and of course one of my favorites, this cinnamon streusel pumpkin coffee cake.
Don’t forget to Pin this Recipe for later.
